Liability Waver
This is agreed upon service request

Scope of Work

The Service Provider will perform a standard solar panel cleaning, which includes:

● Rinsing and cleaning of accessible solar panels.

● Light debris removal (dust, pollen, dirt, bird droppings).

● Basic visual inspection from the surface level.

Customer Acknowledgments & Liability Release

The Customer agrees to the following terms:

Roof Access and Tile Risk:

The Customer understands that many roofs—especially clay, Spanish tile, and older shingles—are fragile. The Service Provider will take care to avoid damage; however, the Customer accepts all liability for broken, loose, cracked, or shifted roof tiles that occur during normal access and cleaning.

 

The Service Provider is not responsible for:

● Pre-existing roof damage

● Pre-existing panel scratches, cracks, hotspots, or delamination

● Wiring issues, conduit damage, or electrical faults

● Failures that occur after cleaning, unrelated to the cleaning itself


Solar Warranty

The Customer acknowledges it is their responsibility to verify manufacturer warranty terms. Cleaning does not void warranties, but the Service Provider is not responsible for warranty disputes.

 

Energy Output Variability

The Service Provider does not guarantee a specific increase in solar production. While cleaning typically improves output, results vary based on:

● Weather and shading

● Inverter efficiency

● System age

● Panel degradation

Property Safety

The Customer agrees to keep pets secured and pathways clear. The Service Provider is not responsible for damage caused by unstable surfaces, loose tiles, or pre-existing hazards.

 

Payment Terms

● Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

● Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee.

● The Customer agrees that photos of completed work may be taken for documentation.

 

Permission to Access Property

The Customer grants permission for the Service Provider to:

● Enter the property

● Access the roof and solar equipment

● Use water sources as needed

Hold Harmless Agreement

The Customer agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Service Provider from all claims, damages, or liability arising from:

● Roof fragility

● Pre-existing panel or roof defects

● Electrical system malfunctions

● Normal wear and tear from accessing the roof

● Any injury or incident not caused by negligence of the Service Provider
